ConvertCrunch (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at convertcrunch.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our site.

Information We Collect

Data You Enter Into Tools

Most calculations, conversions, and file processing happen directly in your browser, and we do not store tool inputs on our servers. Features that use a third-party service are identified in the tool: the QR URL shortener sends the destination URL you enter to TinyURL, while the currency converter requests live rates from ExchangeRate-API without sending the amount you enter.

Choir Range Rooms

The Choir Range Fit & Best Key Checker reads score files and creates transposed downloads in your browser. Score bytes, filenames, lyrics, and microphone audio are not uploaded. If you create a singer room, we store a compact pitch-and-duration profile derived from the score, the public room title, ensemble settings, selected key change, and singer-submitted part and range data. A singer may optionally provide a display name.

Anyone with a room link can see aggregate response counts and fit recommendations. Exact singer names and ranges are available only to that singer on the same device and to the room owner. Room pages do not load advertising or third-party analytics scripts. Rooms expire after 30 days unless the owner extends them. The owner can remove individual responses or delete the whole room sooner. An optional source-file recovery copy is stored only in that browser after the owner explicitly chooses it.

Automatically Collected Information

When you visit our site, we may automatically collect:

  • Usage data: Pages visited, tools used, time on page, and referral source. This is collected through analytics services to help us understand how the site is used.
  • Device information: Browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and language preference.
  • IP address: Your IP address may be processed by our analytics and advertising partners but is not stored by us directly.

We do not retain inputs from ordinary local-only tools on our servers. Choir singer-room data is the exception described above: a room and its responses expire after 30 days, with a short expiry marker retained to return an accurate expired-room message. Third-party services retain data according to their own policies and configured settings. Google Analytics retention is controlled by the property settings available to the site operator.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access and portability: Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.
  • Deletion: Request that we delete any personal data associated with you.
  • Opt-out: Opt out of personalized advertising through your browser settings or the Google Ads Settings page.

For California Residents (CCPA)

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, request its deletion, and opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

Children's Privacy
