DNA → complementary DNA → mRNA → tRNA anticodons → amino acids
Paste a sequence — non-ATCGU characters are ignored
Example sequences
Transcription: The DNA sense strand has the same sequence as mRNA (with T→U). The antisense (template) strand is read 3'→5' by RNA polymerase to produce mRNA 5'→3'.
Translation: Ribosomes read mRNA codons (3 bases each) and match them with tRNA anticodons carrying the corresponding amino acids. AUG is the start codon (methionine), while UAA, UAG, and UGA are stop codons.
GC content indicates thermal stability — higher GC content means higher melting temperature due to the triple hydrogen bond between G and C (vs. double bond for A-T).
