Calculating exact age involves more than simple subtraction. Because months have different numbers of days (28, 29, 30, or 31) and leap years add an extra day in February, precise age calculation requires accounting for each calendar irregularity. While exact boundaries vary by source, the commonly accepted ranges are:

Western astrology divides the year into 12 zodiac signs based on the position of the sun at the time of birth. The Chinese zodiac, on the other hand, follows a 12-year cycle with each year represented by an animal: Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, Rooster, Dog, and Pig.
